Ferdinand Wayfinding Design Precedents

This project focuses on designing wayfinding signage for a small rural town of Ferdinand, IN that highlights historic landmarks within the community, aligning with the client's vision as a product of my work at the Center for Rural Engagement. The design will incorporate clear, visually engaging markers that guide visitors to significant historical sites. It will include details such as fonts, colors, and outlines, ensuring readability and aesthetic alignment with the landmarks' history. Deliverables will feature a visualization of the signage at the selected installation site, along with specifications for a local fabricator. Final drafts will be shared with the community partner and QOP Liaison by the end of Spring Semester 2025.
